Club get together, Saturday, Sept 20th, at Jerry & Mary Plante's!!!

Meeting to start between 11 AM and 12 Noon. the club will supply Hot Dogs and Soda, and the Plante's will graciously supply the grill and pool (bring your swimsuit!). If anyone wanted something different to cook then they could just bring it. we may have corn on the cob as well.

It will be an informal, social barbecue just to get everyone together. Wives and children are invited

The meeting will be to get a direction on things, just to get ideas on what members would like to do and where we're going from here as a club.

Then around 5PM we'll travel over to Moe's and Joe's for a cruise night. The place is at the Auburn Traffic circle. No more than 15 minutes by caravan. They have hot dogs and hamburgers and music, usually live. They normally have over 40 cars so our group 5 or 6 (or hopefully more) Pontiacs would make a splash.

If you get to the party late and missed the cookout you could have a burger and join us there.

Jerry has about ten or so chairs so maybe members could bring chairs.

We can try and come up with activities to do at the cookout. Something we could give out awards for…

Other activities that day:

Candia "Old Home Day" is happening a few miles away if folks were interested in seeing that

Also, the Manchester Fisher Cats are playing Portland at home that evening, but that would mean you wouldn't be able to attend the cruise

The Nor'Eastern Chapter is chapter 59 of the Pontiac-Oakland Club International (POCI). The purpose of POCI is to pool as much information as possible to assist Pontiac and Oakland owners in the restoration / preservation of their vehicles, to promote interest in the Pontiac and Oakland automobiles, their history and preservation / restoration, and, above all, to make owning a Pontiac or an Oakland an enjoyable experience. Our chapter encompasses New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, and northeastern Massachusetts. As a club, we provide a regional information base and a means for trading and selling Pontiac-Oakland cars and restoration parts. We have monthly meetings at 2:00PM on the third Sunday of every month, usually at the homes of members. The Nor'Eastern Chapter has hosted a POCI convention at Loon Mountain, New Hampshire. We host car shows and cruises several times a season. We publish a bimonthly newsletter which includes a classified section. For more information contact Matt Turner or Chuck Morshead. Enjoy!
