The Flathead Reunion is open to all flathead powered Pontiac and Oakland automobiles. This year’s event will be held in Zanesville, Ohio September 8^th to 10^th. The host hotel will be the Holiday Inn of Zanesville and they are conveniently located just off I-70 at US Rt. 40 (exit 160). The tentative schedule looks like this:

Wednesday, Sept 7^th arrival and check in from 12 to 7 with a get acquainted party at the hotel from 7 to 9. Snacks will be provided and there will be a cash bar.

Thursday, Sept. 8^th meetings and seminars at the host hotel all day with John Sawruk, Charles Bolten, and others scheduled to a speak. We will break for lunch (not included) with the last scheduled seminar to be on period dress. For those not wishing to go to the seminars there will be a bus trip available to Longenberger Baskets and the Dresden area that will be back in time for the period dress seminar. You must pre-register for the bus trip so we know how big of a bus to get. Thursday evening there will be a summer picnic at the home of Ron and Betsy Thomas. Hamburgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken, salads, soft drinks, and desert provided (BYOB allowed). We will caravan our cars from the host hotel. Local POCI members will be there with their cars as well.

Friday, Sept. 9^th A driving tour that should last the better part of the day, approximately 60 miles round trip on secondary roads, to historic Roscoe Village where we can enjoy shops, restaurants, and various activities. We have arranged for an open trailer to provide free rescue service if needed.

Saturday, Sept 10^th will be a show and shine at Zane’s Landing Park, downtown Zanesville, along the river. We have reserved the park from 8 till 4. Period displays and dress will be the theme of the show, but is not required. This is not a judged show, everyone will receive a participation award, however there will be a couple of specialty awards selected. A lunchtime cruise with a box lunch on a paddle wheel boat is being offered for $15. There will be an awards/farewell party at the host hotel from 7 to 9? with deserts and coffee provided. Again there will be a cash bar.
