5 Gallons
1.050 S.G.
1.012 F.G.
Primary Fermentation: 8 Days @ 68F.
Secondary Fermentation: 27 Days @ 56-60F.
90 Minute Boil
6.6# Munton & Fison Light Malt Extract (Syrup)
1# Munton & Fison Light Malt Extract (Dry)
2# English Pale Malt
8 oz. Crystal Malt, 80L., 6-Row
3.5 oz. English East Kent Goldings Plug Hops, 5% Alpha (75
minutes)
1/2 oz. DITTO (10 minutes)
1/2 oz. DITTO (Steep)
1/2 oz. DITTO (Dry Hop)
WYEAST # 1028 London Ale Yeast
2 tsp. Water Crystals
1/4 tsp. Non-iodized Salt
1/3 Cup Corn sugar (priming)
5 Gallons Poland Springs Water
Procedures:
1. Mash Pale & Crystal malts in 1/2 Gallon of 155F. Water for 60
Minutes.
2. Sparge with 1/2 Gallon of 155F. Water
3. Brew Par Usual
4. Crack open bottle from last batch, Tune into the SOX game on the
radio,
relax, AND STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THE GTO!

I brewed this myself on 8/13/00. I used 3.75KG malt so I didn’t use the dry malt. I used Gouldings hops 5.1% - 3.5 oz – 75 min, 1 oz – 10 min, and ½ oz steep. I used 1 TSP Irish moss but didn’t use any Water Crystals.
